This department provides a range of operational, administrative and financial support services to ensure the efficient running of the Colleges. These among others include: human resources, finance, purchasing, service contract negotiations, facilities, maintenance, visas and housing, food services, cleaning, security, transportation, events organization and implementation of several on-going short and long-term projects.

Fire Regulations
Students must be familiar with the procedures for evacuation. Procedures along with maps showing the location of the designated safety zones are put up at every exit. If the fire alarm sounds:

Do not attempt to put out a fire. Follow your instructor out of the building     or proceed quickly to the nearest exit. Do not carry anything except your     purse.
Assemble at the nearest designated safety zone. Remain here until
    you hear the fire wardens give the "all clear".
Do not stand close to the building.
Follow any instructions given to you by an instructor.
Once the "all clear" is given, walk back to your classroom.

Health and Safety Plan
A A safety plan exists to ensure that students and staff know the procedures to follow in the event of an emergency. This plan is available in the LRC. A team of staff members have been trained in emergency procedures and will take charge in an emergency. In case the students become ill, MZC the colleges haves first aid kits provided in collegeavailable at reception and with Student . Services.

In the case of emergency or if the student is seriously ill, then Sstudent Sservices will contact the student’s family and will call an ambulance if needed.

Food
There are separate canteens for male and female students in MZC and a canteen in RUWC, which are equipped with all the latest equipment and best facilities. Every effort is made to ensure that the meals provided are nutritious, satisfying and affordable.

Transportation
The students travel to MZC from the local area, Mirfa and Liwa and to RUWC from Al Ghayati and Sila, The students of both colleges are provided with bus transportation , so that they don’t have to come on their own to the college. This service is free of charge for the students.

Sports
In addition to developing the academic skills, we in the Western Region also take care that the students develop a healthy lifestyle. Students are encouraged to participate in inter college recreational activities and have already particiapated in various charity events. Both colleges have auditoriums that can be used for badminton or table tennis.

Security Guards
MZC and RUWC have 24 hour security at the campus. You must respect the security guards. They work for the Director. They have the right to stop you from leaving the College during class hours, and to ask you to leave after class hours, if you do not have permission.

The security guards check traffic to make sure that only people who are allowed on campus enter and leave the College. Your driver must follow the instructions of the security guards. If you or family members are driving the vehicle then the Security Guard would need to see a valid driving licence in order to allow access. Rude behaviour by drivers will be reported to guardians. Your driver should drop you off and pick you up only where it is allowed. You should tell your driver to drive slowly and carefully. One must remember that the guards act for the security of students and the college.

Student Lockers
Each student receives a locker at the time of registration. You should use it to store your books and belongings and not your laptops. You should not leave your books or belongings in classrooms or anywhere else on campus. Do not leave food, large sums of money or valuables in your locker. The items that you store in your locker are at your own responsibility. You must provide a padlock for the locker.

You are expected to empty your locker at the end of every academic year. Failing to empty your locker will result in Campus Security emptying the locker.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Efforts are made to take utmost care about the safety and health of the students. Three maintenance person and more than ten cleaners are always on rounds to check building repairs and equipments.

Cleaners, clean the campus and classrooms every morning before the students arrive and in the afternoon when the students have left the campus. Due care is taken to keep the toilets and corridors clean.

Landscape and Majlis
MZC & RUWC have been through a process of landscaping that has enhanced the appearance of the colleges. This is an ongoing effort to improve all areas within the campus boundaries with the help of local department and contractors. Students can enjoy their breaks sitting in the gardens by the fountains. Rest chairs are also provided for them to have a wonderful experience. The campus also has majlis for students to relax.
